You’ll complete your NVQ through our simple online portfolio system. Here’s what to expect during the process:

• Answer Knowledge Questions – You can either write your responses or discuss them with your assessor.

• Complete Additional E-Learning – You’ll work through CPD-accredited courses that match the NVQ units you choose.

• Submit a Witness Testimony – A supervisor or manager will complete a short statement about your work. We’ll provide the template.

• Provide Work-Based Evidence – This could include documents, photos, or written case studies showing what you do on the job.

• Join a Professional Discussion – You’ll speak with your assessor about your role, experience, and evidence.

• Take Part in a Video Call (if needed) – Your assessor may arrange a video call to confirm certain aspects of your work.

You can complete your NVQ in as little as 12 months, depending on how quickly you gather the required evidence and engage with your assessor.

Once all units are completed and signed off, you’ll be awarded your ILM NVQ Diploma.

You’ll be assigned a dedicated industry-qualified assessor who will support you throughout your entire NVQ journey.

They’ll guide you through the qualification, give regular feedback on your work, and be available by phone or email whenever you need help or advice.
